Stagebox Ethersound 16E/8S
The SB168-ES is a 3U stagebox using Ethersound technology. It can be connected to many Yamaha digital consoles such as PM5D, M7CL, LS9, DM1000 and DM2000. It is equipped with 16 M7CL quality mic preamps and 8 XLR balanced analog outputs.
Description
The transmission of audio signals is at least a single CAT5e Ethernet cable over a distance of up to 100 meters. The most important advantage outside the very low weight of the “multipair” comes from the fact that the digital link between the scene – on which are the sources microphones and instruments – is almost insensitive to electromagnetic interference, which ensures an audio quality much better than with an analog multipair of the same length.
